The Alliance is not complete.
The Pomparis have assessed the current state of the universe and the situation is, frankly, inadequate. There are homes without guardians. Posts without protection. Bathrooms where the roll sits, undefended, in a state of considerable vulnerability.
This is unacceptable. The Pomparis have decided.
New factions will be found. New guardians will be recruited. The Alliance Pawdians will grow — because it must, because the roll demands it, because the Pomparis have looked at the current arrangement and determined it is not enough.
The search has begun. It will be conducted with the full conviction and considerable volume that the Pomparis bring to everything. Candidates will be assessed. Standards will be maintained. The Void should not get comfortable.
A formal consultation was held with representatives of the Azurinis. The Azurinis spoke at considerable length. They made observations. They provided context. They referenced things that had happened, things that might happen, and several things that the Pomparis are still not entirely sure were relevant. The Pomparis did not understand most of it. This does not matter. The important thing is that everyone agreed, the meeting is over, and there is a post to protect.
The Shadpins were informed separately. They said nothing. The Pomparis are choosing to interpret this as enthusiastic agreement.
